Published on April 16, 2023
Current Context: UN Trade and Development Conference (UNCTAD) has released its latest Trade and Development Report.
According to UN Trade and Development Conference, India’s Economy will Grow at 6.0% in 2023
  • UNCTAD projected India’s growth will decline to 6 per cent in 2023 from 6.6 per cent in 2022. The growth will decline because of the weakening of government spending.
  • It projected that global growth in 2023 will decline to 2.1% from its earlier projection of 2.2%.

  • Developing countries may see their public external debt increase to $2.4-3.6 trillion in 2020 and 2021.
