    • According to the NCA, "Genesis" was a source for cybercriminals to purchase stolen identities and passwords, with the data being sold for prices ranging from 70 cents to hundreds of dollars. The site had been operational since 2018.
  • Sushma Patel will be the captain of India's first blind women's cricket team: Blind in India (CABI) has announced India's first women's blind cricket team, which will represent the country in the upcoming bilateral series against Nepal.
    • The T20 bilateral cricket series is set to take place in Nepal from April 25th to 30th, and Sushma Patel from Madhya Pradesh has been named as the captain of India's team, with Gangavva Neelappa Harijan from Karnataka appointed as the vice-captain.
  • National Safe Motherhood Day 2023 observed on 11th April: India observes National Safe Motherhood Day on 11 April every year to promote maternal health and reduce maternal mortality in the country. This campaign was started by 'White Ribbon Alliance India'.
    • The Government of India has set a goal of ensuring that no woman dies during pregnancy and childbirth, as India currently has the highest maternal mortality rate globally
