Dubai-based airline Emirates has unveiled the world’s first robotic check-in assistant

Current Context: Emirates has introduced the world’s first ever check in robot assistant which it calls Sara. Sara can match faces with scanned passports, check passengers in, and guide them to the luggage drop area at the centre too.

• The robot is part of a new City Check-in and Travel Store Emirates has opened in ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
• The store allows customers to conveniently book travel, check-in for flights, drop off their luggage, and purchase travel essentials to save time at the airport
