Current Context: Uber has partnered with public procurement portal GeM to offer taxi services to government offices, agencies and PSUs at a fixed price. The service will be a kind of corporate service and will be available on a pilot basis initially.

• The service will also have zero cancellation charges and no surge pricing. The service will be a cashless/cardless ride of the officials and will have additional vehicle categories for government riders.
