Current Context: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched a mobile app called Patch Reporting App on Thursday, which will help make the roads of Uttarakhand pothole-free.

  • Using the app, mobile phone users can record pictures of potholes and register their complaints with Public Works Department (PWD) authorities seeking their repair by giving details such as its location.
  • The complainants will be given updates about action taken for the redressal of their complaints along with pictures.
  • The CM instructed PWD officials to redress the complaints lodged through the app within a week and also to monitor the app regularly
  • To download the app, you can visit the official website of Uttarakhand Public Works Department (PWD) and click on the Patch Reporting App link. Alternatively, you can search for the app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it on your mobile device.
