NHPC & KSEB signed MoU to Set Up Design Clinic

Current Context: NHPC Limited and KSEB Limited signed an MoU on 16th June 2023 for setting up a Design Clinic that will provide consultancy services to KSEB Ltd. as its Owner’s Engineer for vetting of design of ongoing and future projects of KSEB Ltd.

• The MoU was signed by Sh. Rajat Gupta, Executive Director (SBD&C), NHPC and Sh. Radhakrishnan G, Director (Generation- Civil), KSEB Limited.
• The MoU aims to accelerate the development of the hydroelectric potential of the state in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner.
• NHPC has agreed to share its technical prowess and expertise with KSEB for reviewing and vetting the design of hydel projects.
