Union Minister Parshottam Rupala launches NOC Approvals

Current Context: NANDI (NOC Approvals for New Drugs & Inoculation System) is a portal launched by the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Shri Parshottam Rupala on 26th June 2023.

• The portal aims to streamline and digitize the regulatory approval process for veterinary drugs and vaccines in India.
• The portal will also be integrated with the SUGAM portal of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) to make the approval process more transparent and efficient.
• The portal is part of the Animal Pandemic Preparedness Initiative (APPI) of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) which seeks to create resilient, farmer-centric animal health systems in India.
• The portal is expected to benefit the researchers and industries involved in developing and manufacturing veterinary products as well as the livestock rearers and consumers.
