BSE launched new logo on its 149th Foundation Day

Current Context: BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) on Monday launched a new logo on its 149th foundation day.

• The bourse, Asia’s oldest stock exchange, launched in 1875 in Bombay under a banyan tree in the form of ‘The Native Share & Stock Brokers’ Association’.
• The new identity of BSE is ‘The Power of Vibrance’, the stock exchange said. The blue color in the logo signifies knowledge, integrity, trust and responsibility.
• The new logo also expresses prosperity, vibrance, growth, new beginnings.
