IFSCA inks MoU with Climate Policy Initiative and IIML -EIC

Current Context: IFSCA stands for International Financial Services Centres Authority, which is a regulator for offshore financial transactions in India. It has signed two MoUs with Climate Policy Initiative - India (CPI) and IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre (IIML -EIC) on July 11, 2023.
  • The MoU with CPI aims to cooperate on sustainable finance, which is critical to achieve transition to green and resilient economies and meet the climate investment needs in India.
  • The MoU with IIML -EIC aims to collaborate for supporting and facilitating FinTech and TechFin entities, which are innovative startups in the financial sector.
