Current Context: Manoj Ahuja, the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, launched a new campaign for banks under the Agri Infra Fund called BHARAT (Banks Heralding Accelerated Rural & Agriculture Transformation) on July 12th, 2023.

• The campaign aims to raise Rs 7200 crore for creating more than 31,850 agricultural infrastructure projects across the country.
• The campaign will run for a month from July 15th, 2023 to August 15th, 2023. The campaign is expected to boost the rural and agricultural development in India by providing modern facilities and infrastructure to the farmers.
