Mobile-Dost-App launched in J&K for Citizen Centric Services

Current Context: Mobile-Dost-App launched in J&K for Citizen Centric Services, Mobile Dost Mobile App is an initiative of Government of J&K to provide a single point of interface to citizens for accessing all Government Services , Emergency Helplines and other information services.

It is a bilingual mobile app in both English & Hindi. Some of the key features of the app are:

450+ Government to Citizen Services (G2C): Citizens can access a plethora of government services, including applying for certificates, licenses, and permits, registering grievances, and accessing various welfare schemes seamlessly through their mobile devices.
Information about Government Tenders: The app provides detailed information about government tenders, enabling entrepreneurs and businesses to stay informed about lucrative opportunities and actively participate in the region’s development.
Travel & Tourism Enquiries: The app acts as a virtual tour guide, offering information on tourist destinations, transportation, accommodations, and other relevant details, promoting tourism and enabling visitors to explore the natural beauty of Jammu & Kashmir.
Government Jobs: Job seekers can access the latest information on government job openings, notifications, and recruitment procedures, ensuring equal opportunities and facilitating employment in the public sector.
News & Press Releases: Stay up-to-date with the latest news, announcements, and press releases from the government, ensuring timely information dissemination and fostering transparency.

The app was launched by the Chief Secretary of J&K on July 11th 2023 as a part of the Digital India initiative. The app is available for download on Google Play Store.
