Current Context: NADA India signed an MoU with SARADO, which is a regional anti-doping organization comprising of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
NADA India signs MoU with SARADO to increase the Regional Cooperation
  • The MoU aims to increase the regional cooperation in anti-doping in sport by developing a comprehensive program to educate athletes and stakeholders, providing training and upskilling opportunities, organizing events and initiatives, encouraging expert exchange and support, and collaboratively producing educational materials and resources.
  • The MoU was signed in New Delhi on July 3, 2023, in the presence of Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
  • This is the first of its kind MoU for India in the anti-doping domain and reflects India’s willingness and strong intent to be involved in furthering the anti-doping movement globally.
