National Doctor’s Day 2023 – July 1

Current Context: National Doctor’s Day 2023 is a special occasion to celebrate and honour the valuable contributions of doctors and healthcare professionals in India. It is observed on July 1st every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a prominent physician, educationist and statesman who served as the second Chief Minister of West Bengal from 1948 to 1962.
