  • National:
    • The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and laid the foundation stone for 'Modern Khadi of New India’. The MoUs were signed with Prasar Bharati, NBCC (India) Limited, and Digital India Corporation.

    • The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in India launched three significant initiatives on September 19, 2023, Kisan Rin Portal (KRP),KCC Ghar Ghar Abhiyaan,Weather Information Network Data Systems (WINDS) Manual.These initiatives aim to revolutionize agriculture, enhance financial inclusion, optimize data utilization, and improve the lives of farmers across the nation.
    • A National Workshop on e-NAM 2.0 and Agricultural Marketing Reforms was organized. The workshop was addressed by Shri Manoj Ahuja, Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
    • The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has established 6467 Standard Clubs in schools and colleges across the country. The initiative started in 2021 and has already made a significant impact.
    • The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued recommendations on the "Rationalization of Entry Fee and Bank Guarantees". These recommendations were made in response to a reference from the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) seeking the rationalization of Entry Fees and Bank Guarantees for various licenses operating in the telecom sector.

    • The Indian Sellers Collective, an umbrella body of trade associations and sellers across India, has criticized a report backed by the World Health Organization (WHO) on the growth of ultra-processed foods in India
    • Amazon has developed a new version of its cashier-less shopping technology specifically for clothing stores. This updated system, known as the Just Walk Out technology, uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags to track clothing and other items
    • Google has indeed integrated its AI chatbot, Bard, into Gmail and YouTube. This integration is part of Google’s effort to deepen Bard’s presence across its applications.Users can now enable Bard to interact with their Gmail, Docs, and Drive accounts to summarize and answer questions across their personal content.
