IAF and Drone Federation of India will co-host Bharat Drone Shakti

Current Context: Bharat Drone Shakti – 2023 will be held on September 25th and 26th, 2023 at the IAF’s airbase in Hindan (Ghaziabad).

• The event will feature over 50 live aerial demonstrations by various drone start-ups and corporates, covering applications such as surveying, agriculture, fire suppression, tactical surveillance, logistics, loitering munition systems, drone swarms, and counter-drone solutions.
• The event will also witness participation from more than 75 drone start-ups and corporates, as well as representatives from central government, state departments, public and private industries, armed forces, paramilitary forces, representatives from friendly countries, academicians and students and drone enthusiasts.
• The event aims to give a fillip to India’s commitment to becoming a global drone hub by 2030.
