SBI Card Launches ‘SimplySAVE Merchant SBI Card’

Current Context: The SimplySAVE Merchant SBI Card is a new credit card launched by SBI Card on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. It is designed to cater to the short-term credit needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

• Interest-free short-term credit up to 50 days ,10X reward points on utility, insurance, and telecom payments.
• 1% fuel surcharge waiver across all petrol pumps up to Rs. 100 per month.Annual fee reversal on spending Rs. 1 lakh or more in a year.
• Available on RuPay network and can be linked to UPI for payments through various UPI-enabled third-party apps.
• The card is aimed at empowering MSMEs by ensuring easier and timely access to formal credit.
• Dinesh Khara, Chairman of State Bank of India, said that the card addresses the need for easy and timely access to formal credit by providing interest-free short-term credit to MSMEs.
