Railway’s IRCON & RITES Becomes 15th & 16th ‘Navratna CPSE’

Current Context:The Department of Public Enterprise (DPE) under the Ministry of Finance has granted Navratna status to two Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) namely Ircon International Limited (IRCON) and RITES Limited (RITES) under the Ministry of Railways.

• IRCON International Limited, a specialized construction company that covers the entire range of construction activities and services in the infrastructure sector, is now the 15th company to be granted Navratna status.
• RITES Limited, a multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy organization, is the 16th Navratna amongst CPSEs. RITES Limited is entering its 50th year of incorporation in 2024.
