Current Context: The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has indeed released the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) Way Forward Annual Report for 2023.

  • Here are some highlights from the report:
    • The report showcases the substantial progress made by States, Union Territories (UTs) and seven sectors during 2023 in the mandatory e-Services and total e-Services under the NeSDA Framework.
    • A total of 16,487 e-services were provided across States/UTs in December 2023, as against 11,614 in April 2023.
    • A saturation level of 76% of Mandatory e-services has been achieved by States/UTs.
    • Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) provides the maximum (1117) number of e-Services, across States/UTs.
    • Tourism sector has achieved the highest saturation for provision of all mandatory e-services in 23 out of 36 States/UTs.
    • J&K, Kerala, Assam, and Odisha provide 100% of their services through their identified Single Unified Service Delivery Porta.
