  • Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Clean Plant Programme on June 3, 2025, in Pune, Maharashtra, at India’s 1st International Agri Hackathon.   • The CBIC issued Circular No. 249/06/2025-GST on June 9, 2025, stating that quoting the Document Identification Number (DIN) is no longer required for GST portal communications. Instead, a verifiable Reference Number (RFN) will suffice, ensuring legal validity under Section 169 of the CGST Act, 2017. This move eliminates duplication while maintaining traceability in tax-related communications.
  • Maharashtra and Karnataka accounted for 51% of India's FDI inflows in FY 2024–25, as per Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) data. Maharashtra attracted $19.6 billion (31%), while Karnataka received $6.62 billion (20%). Total FDI inflows grew 14% to $81.04 billion, the highest in the last three years.
  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched a five-part documentary series titled "RBI Unlocked: Beyond the Rupee" on June 3, 2025.   • Canara Bank has removed the penalty for non-maintenance of minimum balance across all savings accounts, effective June 1, 2025.   • The 2025 Global Data Center Market Comparison report was released by Cushman & Wakefield in June 2025. Mumbai ranked 6th globally with 335 MW of data center capacity under construction. Virginia, USA, secured the 1st position with 1,834 MW of capacity under construction. The ranking highlights India's growing prominence in digital infrastructure.
  • The S&P Global Ratings report Corporate India’s Capex Surge: Growth, Risks & Opportunities was released on June 10, 2025. It projects Indian corporates doubling capital expenditure to $800–$850 billion over the next five years. Investments will focus on power, airlines, green hydrogen, semiconductors, and battery plants.

  • On June 7, 2025, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the Mukhya Mantrir Jiban Anuprerana Scheme in Guwahati.
