7th Future Food Forum 2025

Current Context: The 7th Future Food Forum 2025 was held on 23–25 September 2025 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, UAE, organised by the FIBG (Food Industries Business Group) under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism.

• It was chaired by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy & Tourism.
• The theme was “Shaping Tomorrow’s Food Ecosystems”, with the aim of building resilient, sustainable, and innovative food systems.

Highlights:

• Emphasis on CEPA – Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements as enablers of food manufacturing, logistics, and SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) exports.
• UAE target: grow food sector contribution from USD – United States Dollar 8.1 billion → USD 10.9 billion.
• Sessions on Industry 4.0, AI – Artificial Intelligence, smart packaging, sustainable proteins, and agri‑tech (agricultural technology).
• Launch of Knowledge Hub and Global Buyers Programme to connect producers with 40+ international markets.
• India–UAE cooperation highlighted as a model for South–South partnerships.
