Mirabai Chanu Wins Silver in Women’s 48kg at World Championships, Norway
  • It was the first World Championships after the Paris 2024 Olympics and marked the start of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle.
  • India’s Mirabai Chanu won silver in the women’s 48kg category, lifting a total of 199kg (84kg snatch + 115kg clean & jerk), setting a new national record.
