Current Context: The 12th World Para Athletics Championships took place in New Delhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 27 September to 5 October 2025.

  • India delivered its best‑ever performance, securing 22 medals – 6 Gold, 9 Silver, and 7 Bronze.
  • Gold medalists included Sumit Antil (F64 Javelin), Rinku Hooda (F46 Javelin), Yogesh Kathuniya (F56 Discus), Shailesh Kumar (T63 High Jump), Simran Sharma (T12 100m) and others.
  • Rinku Hooda set a Championship Record of 66.37m in the F46 Javelin, while Sundar Singh Gurjar added silver in the same event.
