World Para Athletics Championships 2025

Current Context: The 12th World Para Athletics Championships took place in New Delhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 27 September to 5 October 2025.

• This was the first time India hosted the event, with participation from 2,000+ athletes representing 104 nations across 186 medal events.
• India delivered its best‑ever performance, securing 22 medals – 6 Gold, 9 Silver, and 7 Bronze.
