24th Asian Archery: India Bags 10 Medals

Current Context: The 24th Asian Archery Championships 2025 were held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 8–14 November 2025, organised by World Archery Asia and the Bangladesh Archery Federation. 
24th Asian Archery: India Bags 10 Medals
  • A total of 207 athletes from 29 nations participated in the event. 
  • India recorded its best-ever performance, winning 10 medals (6 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze) and finishing as the top medal-winning nation.
  • In Compound Women’s Individual,  Jyothi Surekha Vennam won gold and Prithika Pradeep took silver.
  • In the Compound Women’s Team,  Jyothi, Deepshikha & Prithika clinched gold against South Korea.
  • In the Compound Mixed Team, Abhishek Verma & Deepshikha won gold against Bangladesh.
  • In the Compound Men’s Team, Abhishek Verma, Prathamesh Fuge & Sahil Jadhav secured silver against Kazakhstan.
  • In the Recurve Men’s Team,  Atanu Das, Yashdeep Bhoge & Rahul won gold after 18 years, defeating South Korea.
  • India topped the medal tally, marking a historic and dominant performance in Asian archery.
