National:
  • Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Watershed Mahotsav on 11 November 2025 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Organised by the Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), with support from the Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP). It aimed at water rejuvenation, soil health improvement, and sustainable rural development.

  • JSW Energy commissioned India’s largest green hydrogen plant on 11 November 2025 at Vijayanagar, Karnataka. The plant has a capacity of 3,800 TPA hydrogen and 30,000 TPA oxygen, supplied to JSW Steel’s DRI unit. It was developed under the National Green Hydrogen Mission and PLI Scheme – Tranche I.
  • Collins Aerospace inaugurated a USD 100 million manufacturing facility on 11 November 2025 at Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The 26-acre site will produce seats, sensors, lighting, navigation systems, and evacuation slides. It is part of RTX’s USD 250 million India investment plan under the PLI scheme.
  • Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated India’s first modern river ferry terminal on 7 November 2025 at Guwahati, Assam. Named the Gateway of Guwahati Terminal and Jetty, it was built at a cost of ₹304.95 crore. Facilities include a waiting lounge, observatory deck, sewage plant, and fire safety systems.
  • Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, inaugurated India’s first Megawatt‑hour (MWh) scale Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) system on 12 November 2025 at National Energy Technology Research Alliance (NETRA), NTPC Ltd., Greater Noida. The installation has a 3 MWh capacity, making it India’s largest Vanadium Redox Flow Battery project.

  • IndiGo and China Southern Airlines signed a codeshare MoU on 11 Nov 2025 in India to boost air connectivity. The pact enables seamless travel, through check‑in, and expanded networks via Guangzhou. IndiGo resumed Kolkata–Guangzhou and Delhi–Guangzhou flights, marking the revival of India–China routes after five years.
  • On 11 November 2025, the National Health Authority (NHA) renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Health Research (DHR) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in New Delhi. The aim of this collaboration is to strengthen evidence-based healthcare decision-making under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
  • Banas Dairy (Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Limited) and BBSSL (Bharat Bhushan Shukla Seeds Limited) signed an MoU on 13 November 2025 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Aim: Strengthen the potato value chain through seed quality, storage, processing, and market linkages.
  • CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) and NICDC (National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation) signed an MoU on 12 November 2025 in New Delhi. Aim: Strengthen the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative through innovation‑led industrial ecosystems. Focus areas: Biotechnology, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aerospace, advanced manufacturing.
Science & Technology:
  • ISRO successfully conducted a parachute test for the Gaganyaan Mission on 9 Nov 2025 at Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. The test validated the crew module deceleration system to ensure safe astronaut landing after re‑entry. Conducted by VSSC with DRDO support, it checked parachute deployment and redundancy under simulated conditions.

  • ICC Player of the Month (October 2025) was announced on 12 November 2025. Laura Wolvaardt won the women’s award for her record-breaking run in the Women’s World Cup. Senuran Muthusamy won the men’s award for his all-round brilliance in the Test series vs Pakistan.

  • World Kindness Day 2025 was observed on 13 November 2025 across the globe. It was first introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement to promote compassion and empathy. Celebrated in countries including India, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, and UAE. Its aim is to encourage small acts of kindness that build harmony and strengthen humanity.

  • On 10 November 2025, Vivek Singla was appointed Managing Director (MD) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL). He brings over 35 years of experience in power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy. An alumnus of Delhi Institute of Technology, FMS Delhi, and ISB Hyderabad, he earlier led Green Hydrogen & Transmission at ReNew Power.
  • Egypt’s Khaled El-Enany was elected as the 12th Director-General of UNESCO on 6 Nov 2025 at Samarkand, Uzbekistan. He secured 172 out of 174 votes, one of the highest margins in UNESCO’s history. A renowned Egyptologist and former Minister of Antiquities, he will assume office on 15 Nov 2025, succeeding Audrey Azoulay
  • On 12 November 2025, BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi was appointed Chairperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). The 31-member panel will examine three amendment bills, including the Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill, 2025. The aim is to ensure automatic removal of PM, CMs, and Ministers if detained for 30 days on serious charges.
