Current Context: On Feb 3, 2026, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) signed two landmark MoUs in New Delhi.

  • The first MoU launched the Bharat Container Shipping Line (BCSL) to cut dependence on foreign shipping operators.
