- Nitish Kumar dedicated 132 projects to the public at the Chamera village in Ekangarsarai block. They were worth Rs 97.63 crore in addition to the 114 projects worth Rs 698.65 crore, for which the foundation stones were laid.
- While addressing a public meeting, Nitish Kumar mentioned the various government schemes run by his government and the social reform measures taken up by his government like the alcohol ban in Bihar, campaigns against dowry and child marriages.
- He said that the agriculture in Bihar is likely to show a boost as part of his government’s “third roadmap” for 2017-2012 which was recently launched by the President Ram Nath Kovind.
- He encouraged the people to participate in the human chain that is to be formed on 21st January 2018 to spread awareness about child marriages and dowry.
- Nitish Kumar covered about six districts in this second phase of his state-wide yatra.
