  • Lai Haraoba, a five day long ritualistic festival is being observed in Tripura and is jointly organised by Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of Tripura, Puthiba Lai Haraoba Committee and Puthiba Welfare & Cultural Society, Agartala. The festival aims to uphold tradition and cultural values of Meitei community.
  • The 28th edition of annual New Delhi World Book Fair will begin from 4th to 12th January at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The book fair organised by National Book Trust (NBT) and Eminent Gandhian scholar Girishwar Mishra will be the chief guest at the event.
