- Dr Jitendra Singh launched the Centralized Public Grievance Redress And Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) Reforms at the event.
- He said that the number of "public grievances" registered with the grievances cell has increased from just two lakh in 2014 to nearly 19 lakh now.
- The reforms will lead to a reduction in grievance disposal time and improved quality of grievance redressal.
- CPGRAMS is the web technology platform, primarily aims to enable submission of grievances by the aggrieved citizens from anywhere and anytime (24x7) basis to Ministries/Departments/Organisations.
- The online web-enabled system CPGRAMS is developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC), in association with Directorate of Public Grievances (DPG) and Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
- The CPGRAMS provides the facility to lodge a grievance online from any geographical location.
