- The researchers at IIT Bombay has developed this digital stethoscope by modifying conventional stethoscope to digital one because there is a risk of getting infection while handling the conventional stethoscope by the professionals when they are treating COVID-19 patients.
- It is developed by a IIT Bombay startup named Ayu Devices with the guidance of Biomedical Engineering and Technology incubation Center (BETiC).
