Current Context: Indian Airforce launched an operation Sanjeevani to grant support of medical supplies to the Maldives.
‘Operation Sanjeevani’- Launched by IAF to Grant Medical Supplies to Maldives to Fight COVID-19
  • This is done by airlifting 602 tons of essential medical supplies like medicines and hospital equipment to fight COVID-19.
  • The essentials were delivered by aircraft C-130J.
  • The medicines were procured from various cities and were delivered by a Hercules aircraft of the Indian Air Force.
