Current Context: India and Israel have signed MoU to work together in the expansion of cooperation in Cyber Security.
India and Israel to Work in Cyber Security Co-operation
  • The MoU was signed between Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), a unit of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and Israel’s National Cyber Directorate (INCD).
  • Both entities of India and Israel will work together in dealing with cyber threats which has risen along with digitization due to COVID-19 pandemic situation which has led to exploring virtual opportunities to most of the countries.
  • The MoU will provide protection from cyber threats and will allow the countries to carry out digital activities like shopping, banking, learning etc virtually in this pandemic situation.
