Current Context: India’s first Pocket Android POS device named as ‘Paytm All-in-One Portable Android Smart POS’ is launched by Paytm.
- The device is launched for contactless ordering and payments in India. It is said to be powerful than the currently available portable Linux based POS devices.
- The ‘Paytm All-in-One Portable Android Smart POS’ will offer a digital platform to many SME’s in the country.
- Paytm has assured to give 2 lakh devices within the next few months which will help to conduct 20 million transactions per month.
- ‘Paytm All-in-One Portable Android Smart POS’ is integrated with ‘Paytm Business App’ which will help to generate GST compliant bills and will help to perform and manage all transactions and settlements.
- It will also help to carry out various business services and financial solutions like loans, insurances and business accounts to manage.
- The system is incorporated with a soundbox, calculator, power bank, colour, pe stands and radio.
- It is workable on 4G SIM cards and Wifi and also has Bluetooth connectivity.
