Current Context: The First India-Nordic-Baltic Conclave was held virtually. 
First India-Nordic-Baltic Conclave
  • The Indian side was represented by Union Minister of External Affairs, Dr S Jai Shankar.
  • The First India-Nordic-Baltic Conclave was hosted by Ministry of External Affairs in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
  • The theme for the conclave was: ‘An Innovation-Driven Partnership for Growth in New World’.
  • The dignitaries discussed the adoption of clean technologies and renewable energies.
  • They also held discussion related to Artificial Intelligence, supply chain logistics and blockchain led transformation.
  • Static Part: Nordic Countries: Group of five nations in Northern Europe- Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and Finland.
    • Baltic Countries: Three sovereign nations in Northern Europe which are on the east coast of the Baltic sea- Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania.
