Current Context: The Central Bank of India entered into a partnership with NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) ‘RuPay Select’.

• The ‘RuPay Select’ is the contactless debit card which is the bank’s one-of-its-kind health and wellness-focused card.
• The card is launched to focus on the user’s lifestyle, fitness, rejuvenation, nutrition and personal care. 
• With the help of this card, the customer can avail complimentary membership and concession facilities at golf courses, gyms, spas and restaurants.
• The card possesses an accidental and permanent disability cover of Rs 10 lakh.
• The cardholders can also take benefit of discounts on health checkups with this National Common Mobility Debit Card (NCMC). 
• Also, the ‘RuPay Select’ card offers airport lounge access to over 200 domestic and more than 500 international lounges.
