  • Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) Meet: The meet was held under the chairmanship of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. In this meet, 7 capital acquisition proposals related to military hardware worth Rs 28,000 crore were approved.
  • 3rd Joint Working Group on shipping meet between India and Denmark: In this meet, India was represented by Dr Sanjeev Ranjan, Secretary of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways while Denmark was represented by Andreas Nordseth, DG of Danish Maritime Authority. Both nations agreed to cooperate in the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) by conducting meets with respect to discuss greenhouse gas emissions.

  • India Grid Trust partnered with IBM to form an asset management platform which will be enabled by Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology. This partnership will help to digitally transform the critically powered infrastructure. Under this partnership, India Grid Trust will build a hybrid cloud solution with IBM’s Maximo Application Suite which will be operated on IBM Cloud.
  • The Ministry of Ayush and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs declared the formal recognition of Yogasana as a competitive sport in India. Both the ministries will be conducting ‘National Individual Yogasana Sports Championship’.
