7th MASCRADE 2021

Current Context: The ‘7th MASCRADE 2021-Movement against Smuggled and Counterfeit Trade’ was inaugurated by Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.

• It was organised by FICCI CASCADE (Committee Against Smuggling and Counterfeiting Activities Destroying the Economy).
• The aim behind the MASCRADE 2021 is to combat illicit trade activities in the post-pandemic period of COVID-19. 
• This event observed the discussions on developing innovative policy solutions to avoid illicit trade and damage to the economy and thus maintain the health and safety of the community worldwide.
