Current Context: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 8 trains connecting the Statue of Unity in Gujarat via video conference.

• These trains will connect different parts of India to Kevadiya in Gujarat where the Statue of Unity is situated.
• Thus these trains will offer smooth and easier travel connectivity to the Statue of Unity and will promote its importance.
• These trains will connect Kevadiya with: Varanasi, Dadar, Hazrat, Ahmedabad, Nizamuddin, Chennai, Rewa and Pratapnagar.
