‘ShramShakti’ Portal and ‘ShramSaathi’ Tribal Training Module

Current Context: The Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda launched the ‘ShramShakti’ portal.

• It was launched virtually during the programme held at Panjim, Goa in the presence of CM of Goa, Pramod Sawant. 
• The ‘ShramShakti’ portal is a National Migration Support Portal.
• The portal will allow GOI and states government to collect data related to the tribal migrant workers and will allow ease in the formulation of national level programs for the migrants.
• The portal will allow migrants to be linked with various welfare schemes as it will collect real-time data of the migrants.
• The portal will address the data gap and will empower the migrant workers, who are in search of job opportunities. 
• The portal will collect data like livelihood options, demographic profile, migration pattern, and skill mapping of the tribal migrants.
• The Union Minister also launched ‘ShramSaathi’, which is a tribal training module.
• This module will offer proper management for safe and productive livelihood migration of workers.
