  • Awards and Recognition: Delhi Police: They were awarded Best Marching Contingent Trophy 2021 among CAPF and other auxiliary services by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

  • RBI released a circular which defines that the central bank has tightened the norms for investments in NBFCs from 17 Non-FATF nations. The 17 nations marked by FATF under ‘high-risk jurisdictions subjected to a call of action’ and ‘jurisdictions under increased monitoring’ will be imposed with restrictions to perform investments in NBFCs of India. As per the circular from RBI, the investors from non-FATF compliant jurisdictions would hold less than 20% of the voting power in NBFCs.

  • About FATF (Financial Action Task Force): Its HQ is in Paris, France. Its President is Marcus Pleyer
  • ‘Priceless India’: It is a flagship program of Mastercard which allows the cardholders to avail exclusive access to experiences in the Indian cities. The program is rolled out in 2 phases. In the first phase, Mastercard will launch short films which will depict unique qualities of iconic Indian cities. In the second phase, the cardholders will be able to avail real-time experience by selecting attractive packages in an online manner.
  • PiMo e-bike: It was launched by Pi Beam, an incubated startup of IIT Madras. The e-bike costs Rs 30,000 and the startups aim to sell 10,000 PiMo by 2021-22.
