• BRICS First Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meet: It was hosted by India. It was co-chaired by Tarun Bajaj, Secretary of Economic Affairs and Michael Patra, Deputy Governor of RBI.
• ‘Namma Cargo’ Services: It was launched by the CM of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa. It was launched at Vidhana Soudha, where the state road transport corporations, barring the BMTC, will transport parcels to increase revenue. The service will be implemented at the 109 bus station in the state. The first phase of service will be operated in 88 talukas of the state and at 21 inter-state locations.

• Awards and Recognition: PM Narendra Modi: He will be honoured with the ‘CERA Week Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award’ at an Annual International Energy Conference.
• Swavalamban Divyangjan Assistive Tech Market Access (ATMA) Fund: It is a social impact fund, which is launched by Social Alpha in partnership with Small Industries and Development Bank of India (SIDBI). It will offer financial support to the startups which work in the Assistive Technology sector and are registered under Social Alpha. The main aim of this fund is to promote innovation and support financially to persons with disabilities to procure new technologies.
