  • As per Bank for International Settlements (BIS), India’s bank credit-to-GDP ratio increased 56% in 2020. The latest data of BIS mentions that incremental credit growth has decreased to a 59-year low of 5.56% in FY 2021.

  • ‘Rapid Antigen Test kit for COVID-19’: It was developed by IIT Delhi and was launched by Minister of State for Education, Sanjay Dhotre. The kit is used for in vitro qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in a nasopharyngeal swab. It can detect COVID-19 infection through screening and diagnosis of the general population.
  • Amazon AWS has acquired Wickr, which is the messaging app. With this acquisition, the customers and partners will be benefited from advanced security features, which are not available with traditional communications services across messaging, voice and video calling and file sharing.
