  • ‘FASTER’ (Fast and Secure Transmission of Electronic Records): It is the secure electronic transmission mechanism to speed up the process of bail i.e. instantaneous delivery of Supreme Court orders to the prisons, district courts, high courts through a secured communication medium. It will help to save time and effort for the process. It was launched by the Chief Justice of India N V Ramana.
  • 2021 BRICS Meet on Contact Group on Economic and Trade Issues (CGETI): It was chaired by India and the Department of Commerce was the coordinator of the meeting. The dignitaries discussed the proposals circulated by India to enhance BRICS cooperation in trade activities. The proposals like BRICS Cooperation on Multilateral Trading System, BRICS Framework for ensuring Consumer Protection in E-Commerce, Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Working Mechanism, Non-Tariff Measures (NTM) Resolution Mechanism for SPS/TBT Measures, BRICS Framework on Cooperation in Professional Services, Cooperation framework for the protection of Genetic Resources, and Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions were discussed.
  • Balika Panchayat: It is arranged by Kunariya village of Kutch district in Gujarat. The young females between ages 10 to 21 years contested elections for this unique Panchayat. The Balika Panchayat will tackle issues related to adolescent girls and women in the village. It will develop leadership qualities in the girls for Future Panchayat polls.
