- The bill focuses on enhancing access to contraceptive measures as stated under the Family Planning Programme.
- It aims to grant a safe system for abortion, reduce maternal and newborns mortality rates.
- The bill focuses on population control as an important and compulsory subject in all secondary schools. It highlights the management of health, nutrition, and education of adolescents between ages 11 to 19 years.
- It offers increments, promotions, concessions in housing schemes, and perks for those who follow the laws mentioned in the bill.
- The bill highlights that the government employees who follow the two-children policy mentioned in the bill will be given 2 additional increments during their entire service, maternity or paternity leave of 12 months, with complete salary and allowances. Also, a 3% increase in the Employer’s Contribution Fund (EPF) under the National Pension Scheme will be granted for the same.
- And the non-government employees who support curbing the population in the state will be granted rebates in taxes on housing, water, home loans, etc.
- If the parent of a child undergoes vasectomy, he or she will be offered free medical facilities until the age of 20.
