WHO signed MoU with IPC

Current Context: The World Health Organisation has entered into MoU with International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

• The MoU was signed to cooperate in promoting diversity and equity in the health and sports area by conducting various global initiatives.
• Both the entities will look to increase global access to rehab quality and technology which is assistive for health coverage.
• They will reduce inequalities by granting equal opportunities to the people in sports like Paralympics and Para Athletics.
• The partnership will offer a platform for more people to participate in sports and will promote universal health and enhance its coverage.
• They will ensure that people have care and technologies in order to showcase their potential in sports.
