• The Titagarh Weapons Ltd conducted a virtual function to display 1st train for Pune Metro. The train is manufactured by its subsidiary based in Italy by the name ‘Titagarh Firema SpA Plant’. This train is India’s lightest metro trainset as it is manufactured using Aluminum for the 1st time in India.
• The SEBI has allowed payments banks to perform activities of investment bankers. The approval was given to offer easy access to the investors to participate in public and rights issues by using various payment avenues. The non-scheduled payment banks will also be allowed to act as a Banker to an Issue (BTI) as per the norms.
• Ravi Kumar Dahiya (Indian wrestler) won Silver Medal men’s 57kg freestyle category at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

• ICICI Prudential Life Insurance: It has become the first life insurance company to offer its customers the UPI AUTOPAY facility by entering into a partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). This will allow its customers to purchase insurance policies, pay their premiums in a safe and secure manner from their home itself. To avail of this benefit, the customers will have to activate the UPI AUTOPAY e-mandate through their smartphones.
