- West Bengal: It has won four SKOCH awards for 4 of its schemes under the Ease of Doing Business initiative. The ‘platinum award’ was won by the state’s ‘Silpasathi’. The ‘gold award’ was won by Auto-Renewal of Certificate of Enlistment through the online system for urban areas. The ‘silver award’ was won by the Online issuance of trade licences in rural areas and the ‘E-Nathikaran’.

- The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) signed MoU with the University of Agricultural Science (UAS) Bangalore to give support and boost exports of agricultural and processed food products mostly from Karnataka. As per the MoU, advanced technologies will be deployed for advanced alertness, efficient and precision farming and enhancing quality based exports.

- India’s nuclear power capacity is expected to reach 22,480 Mega Watts by 2031. Currently, it is 6,780 MegaWatts. This info was given by Atomic Energy and Space Minister Dr Jitendra Singh. He mentioned that share of nuclear power is 3.1% in 2020-21 in the total electricity generation of India. Currently, there are 22 reactors with a total capacity of six thousand 780 MW in operation and 10 reactors with eight thousand MW capacity are under construction. Also, ten indigenous Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors of 700 MW each will be set up soon.
