- The portal will be used to store land details of farmers
- This portal is the first of its kind initiative in the country by the state government to collect and store data of the land details of farmers
- The portal is launched as a pilot project and soon will be expanded to other financial institutions
- The portal was inaugurated by Niraj Kumar Verma, Chief General Manager of Nabard
- Under this portal, the farmers will be registered and will be given a FRUITS ID (FID) number
- Through this number, the lending and financial institutions will be able to access the land details of farmers as well as their borrowings and will be able to take a quick decision on lending to them as per their requirements
