‘WEP Nxt’--- NITI Aayog and CISCO

Current Context: The NITI Aayog in partnership with Cisco launched ‘WEP Nxt’.

The ‘WEP Nxt’ is the next phase of the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP).
Under the ‘WEP Nxt’, Cisco’s technology and experience will be used to boost women's entrepreneurship in India.
The WEP will focus on the needs of Indian women entrepreneurship in 6 areas like funding and financial management, marketing, community and networking, taxation and compliance support, incubation connectivity, skilling, and mentor guidance.
The WEP initiative was launched by NITI Aayog in 2017.
In this phase of the initiative, Cisco in partnership with various organisations like Nasscom Foundation, Sattva Consulting, and DeAsra Foundation will tackle the challenges faced by Indian women entrepreneurs.
