The UNESCO announced Europe’s Mura-Drava-Danube (MDD) as the world’s first ‘five-country biosphere reserve. The MDD is the largest riverine secured area which is located on the continent named as ‘Amazon of Europe’. The MDD covers the 5 countries like Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Serbia and rivers like Mura, Danube, and Drava.
