  • The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has partnered with Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd. and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. They have partnered to distribute non-life insurance products in India. Under this partnership, IPPB with both the partners will work to distribute affordable insurance products through its robust network of 650 branches and over 136,000 banking access points. The partnership will prove helpful to fulfill financial protection needs in the unbanked areas.

  • The NPCI International Payments (NIPL) has partnered with Liquid Group to allow QR-based UPI payments' acceptance in 10 countries across North and Southeast Asia. Due to this partnership, the users of the BHIM app will be able to make UPI QR-based payments at over 2 million merchants across the dedicated area from 2022.
